ROPID the adorable humanoid
0Have being quite some time did not see any nice and cute robot as Ropid. The Ropid by Tomotaka Takahashi can rotate its upper torso, that can help immensely in keeping it balanced while jumping, running and skipping around. The movements are expressive enough, but with some slightly articulated hands and a moving mouth, ROPID ups the adorable-ness factor over some of its nuts and bolts counterparts. ROPID can also respond to a few voice commands and speaks as well. Kewl.

Video after the break.

0Interesting. Puma staff created an F1 car out of T-Shirts. GBH has built a Ferrari Grand Prix car out of designer gear – with the help of 1,500 T-shirts and 88 pairs of jeans. It took a team five hours to turn the T-shirts and jeans – together with 20 belts, 26 pairs of shoes and baseball caps – into a model of the 200mph racer.
