Apple Rumours: iPhone 5 & iPad 7 inch by 2011?

As said by Ashok Kumar an analyst at Rodman & Renshaw, Apple iPhone 5 will be the Apple’s first phone to support LTE’ (Long Term Evolution) or commonly known as 4G. He also mentioned in his report that Qualcomm is the expected chip supplier for iPhone CDMA and also iPhone 5. Curren iPhone is using a 3G chipset from infineon, where the wireless division is acquired by Intel for $1.4 billion.

Kumar also wrote that Apple is expected to release a second-generation iPad with a 7-inch display and front/rear-facing cameras by early 2011

GRASP Quadrotor: The beginning of SKYNET.

When i saw this the 1st time, it is awesome and cool. But imagine if this is full blown into a flying droid, now it is scary. The Skynet is here. Cao cao (Singlish : Run Run Run) ha2.

The technology is developed by Daniel Mellinger and Vijay Kumar from Grasp Lab (University of Pennysylvania). The Quadrotor can actually recover from extreme condition and fly steadily without human intervention. The best thing is it can even detect extreme movement and fly into loops. Cool.

Solar Eagle – Unmanned Aircraft that flies for 5 years non stop.

As announced in the Boeing website, the company just signed a 89million project with DARPA as part of the Vulture II programme. Boeing will have almost two and half years until 2014 to build the plane.
