The designers (Seungkyun Woo and Junyi Heo) are inspired by photosynthesis process. The Leaf phone can be use as bracelet that will collect energy from its front solar panel. As backup, it can also be charged as per-normal phone. The Leaf offers a high-tech and functional phone and it bring message to the society that they also can contribute to the energy savings.
